My mission is to deliver cutting edge therapy.
As a trauma informed therapist and clinical hypnotherapist, for over 20 years I have helped countless individuals heal from all aspects of mental health, anxiety and complex trauma. Trained at Master’s level, with an MSc qualification in neuro-developmental psychology and another in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, I combine psychology and hypnotherapy to create lasting healing.
Developmental psychology and psychopathology has taught me, not only what goes on in our brain and nervous system in utero and the early years but also critical thinking, a deeper and more selective understanding of all the information out there, often used to give legitimacy to new theories and approaches. I have a solid foundation from which I have developed my clinical practice.

Like most, becoming a trauma informed therapist and hypnotherapist has become a personal journey, involving further training in counselling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, Systemic and Mindfulness based approaches, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and rapid transformation therapy like Mind Reboot and SFBT (Solution Focused Brief Therapy), and more recently trauma informed approaches like IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming). These are powerful techniques that can promote rapid change.
I favour techniques that engage unconscious processes, at emotional and neuro-physiological level. Along with Ericksonian suggestive hypnosis, i use somatic body-based techniques that have developed from poly-vagal theory and that I have tried and tested as part of my own healing.

Before starting in private practice in 2019, and beyond my training, my experience spans:
This experience gives me a unique insight into different developmental pathways of neuro-diversity, emotional and personality dis-regulation. But in my work now, I treat individuals as individuals, not labels.
